Abstract Philemon Downes in consideration of Henry Downes and Robert Casson (now dead and insolvent), having became bondsmen in 1777 for Elizabeth Tillotson for her administration of the estate of John Tillotson, dec'd (now in the hands of Philemon Downes by thier marriage) and for the further sum of 7 shillings, 6 pence - assorted items, crops and negroes: Rose, Jim, Sam, Hannah, Mint, Wilkes, Claris and their bedding.
