Abstract | Alexander McAllen vs. John Perkins. Deposition of Nancy Williams of lawful age. Nancy Williams states that she believes that in about 1790: that she, being in the company of John Perkins in Snow Hill, asked Perkins if he "had sent out to Carolina by John Martin for his money due there for a Negro. Said Perkins replied he did not know that Martin had received his order but that he had sent one down to him." |
