Abstract | An Indenture made between the Overseers of the Poor and Major Fortune to carry out an order made in County Court 24 June 1805 to bind Negro Abel son of Susanna freed by Stockly orphan until the age of twenty one, unto Major Fortune who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, and Wearing Apparel, teach him reading, writing and arithmetic, the trade of a Farmer and also pay him Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time. |
