Abstract | An Indenture made between the Overseers of the Poor and John Dix carry out an order made in County Court 28 June 1808 to bind John the child of Sarah free Black woman until the age of twenty one, unto John Dix who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, Wearing Apparel and teach him the trade of a Farmer and also pay him Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time. |
