Abstract | An Indenture made by the Overseers of the Poor and Samuel Waples to carry out an order made in the County Court dated 28 February 1831 to bind Betsey Scarborough Negro of Margaret Scarborough until the age of twenty one unto Samuel Waples, who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, and Wearing Apparel, teach the trade of a Spinster and also pay him Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time. |
