| Abstract | An Indenture made by the Overseers of the Poor and Richard Ames to carry out an order made in the County Court dated 24 February 1834 to bind Negro boy Nat Mathews, son of Fanny Mathews, who is an orphan until the age of twenty one, unto Richard Ames, who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, and Wearing Apparel, teach him the trade of a Farmer and also pay him Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time. |
