| Church Service, Charges Served, Affiliated Locations, and Other Biographical Information | First attended the school taught by her mother at Nassau, Del. 1911 to 1914 where her father was pastor. When father was assigned to St. John's church in Hudson City, N. H. she entered second grade in school for both white and colored pupils. During his pastorage at Townsend, Del, attended school inTownsend & Kirkwood. When at Sharptown (1919-1922, she went to Princess Anne Academy at 13 yo, but health required her be taken home. Later went to Douglas High School in Baltimore & took Teacher Training course; graduating in June 1926; teaching in public schools of Baltimore. Moved to parents' home in Crisfield in June 1928 due to poor health. |
