Served as Church School Superintendent & was licensed Local Preacher. Moved to Wilmington 1913 & joined Ezion M. E. Church. Joined Delaware Conference in 1935 at Atlantic City, N.J. Charges: Port Penn, Del.; Barclay, Md; Horntown, Va; Grenloch & Rhodes, N. J.; Greensboro, Royal Oak, Md & Mt. Holly N. J.
Family and Other Information Parents: John & Amanda Johnson Spouse: Mrs. Mamie Postles of Wilmington, De who accompanied during 20 yrs of his ministry. Surviving him: wife, brothers Ernest T. & Charles Johnson; sister Mrs. Lillie Falls & Mrs. Mary Acworth, foster-daughter Miss Essie Mae Hughes, adopted son Francis H. Johnson.
