Early interest in all work regarding life of Negro youth & imparted both musically & educationally. Joined Shiloh M.E. Church, Crisfield when 9 yo. Wife of Rev. Moses Sterling. Her father, born a slave, ws one of greatest churchmen on shore. While attending to her ill husband & continuing his work, she collapsed. He passed 19 days later. They had been in Quantico 6 years. |
