Educated in Baltimore City Schools & Morgan College (then Centenary Biblical Institute) . After husband Cotton's death she became Superintendent of Friendship Home of the M. E. Church in Phila. Pa. Married Dr. Tindley. After husband Tindley's death, she became Matron of a home for unfortunate girls in Phila. Later moved to Coleman, Md.
