Church Service, Charges Served, Affiliated Locations, and Other Biographical Information | Due to early death of his father, he helped his mother with responsibility of a large family. As a boy, he read about Joshua Thomas of "The Peninsula Methodism" and converted when a youth. Aided by tutors, he became well-read man. Served as director & member of executive committee of Hampton Ministerial Conference. Joined Delaware Conference in 1896. Charges: White Haven, Md; Quantico, Md; Wattsville, Va; Berlin, Md; Easton, Md. At Wattsville, Va. He organized & built the St. Johns Church & renovated parsonage & remodeled Friendship Church. He accomplished many things at other charges and was greatly respected. |
