Returned to Baltimore & joined Sharp Street church. Educated in public schools ther & was student at Morgan College. Admitted to Washington Conference in Wheeling, W.Va 1881; ordained deacon in 1883 & elder in 1885. Served several charges. Transferred to Newark Conference to Newark N.J. as part of Delaware Conference Health started failing at las charge & he resigned, returning to Baltimore to home of his mother. |
Family and Other Information | Parent: Rev. A. J. Wheeler Spouse: married 2 times. 2nd spouse was daughter of Rev. Daniel Collins of Washington Conference - she & 2 children survive him. |
