Description/Full Text | It is enacted that there be a free and open trade with all Indians and at all times. (Said in the foot note: "For years this law was lost sight of due to the fact that there was no edition of the laws printed in Virginia until 1733. It was afterwards held to have abolished Indian slavery; in the meantime descendants of Indians had been enslaved." |
