| Description/Full Text | Whereas hue and cry after runaway servants has been much neglected to the great loss of the inhabitants, it is enacted that all such hue and cry shall be signed either by the governor or some of the council and the same shall be conveyed from house to house with all convenient speed. Runaways, if found, shall be sent from constable to constable until delivered to their master or mistress |
