Additional Information Kentucky - Bracken Cty: Levin Houston, dec'd was owner of 2 negro slaves - man Peter, ranaway while Houston lived in MD & woman Grace ran away when Houston was taking her to KY. It's thought she is near Pittsburg, PA ast this time. Houston, dec'd, couldn't get possession of these slaves when alive although he tried & didn't get compensation for loss of their services. So Joseph & James Houston of Bracken Cty KY, executors appoint Joseph Schoolfield as attorney to obtain possession of slaves & any increase of Grace to get compensation from slaves & to execute deeds of manumission to any of them or bills of sale
