Text | Samuel Smith is appointed to make division of negroes belonging to the estate of Samuel Adams, deceased, between the widow and orphan children of said deceased. 22 Jul 1813 negro Solva is dead, negro Sarah born since appraisement, one of the orphans of deceased has also died since the appraisement, in consequence the negroes are divided between the widow, to wid Ann Adams: Lingo, Durham, Chloe, Grace, Nice and Sarah, and the surviving orphan Hariet Adams: George, Sam, Milcha, Mary and Jane, each lot of negroes valued at $730. |
