Text | William Handy, Sr. and Elisha Parker were appointed by the corphans court to divide the negroes belonging to the estate of John Humphriss, deceased, between William Anderson, deceased who intermarried with the widow of the deceased and his infant son. To the son of John Humphriss the following negroes: Dinah aged 40, Ritta aged 40, Ritta age 11, Sarah age 13, Henry age 7 and John aged 6; to William Anderson the following negroes: Sam aged 15 and Harriett aged 2. |
