| Text | John Leatherbury and Peregrine Weatherly were appointed to divide the negroes belonging to the estate of Charles Rhodes, deceased, between John Stephens and Elizabeth his wife and the children of the said Charles Rhodes. The negroes of Nathan and James Rhodes are considered to be the property of Charles, who survived the other two, they having neither wife nor child. The negroes were divided between John Stephens and Elizabeth his wife and the four children of said Charles Rhodes, deceased. To Rachel Rhodes, Job; To Rachel Rhodes, Job; to Beauchamp Rhodes, Amey and Peter; to Irmes Rhodes, Sam and Sarah Ann; to Sarah Ann Rhodes, William and Settey; to John Stephens and wife's one third part, Harry, and Polly. |
