Abstract of Record Based on commission issued by the Justices of the Orphans Court of Somerset, dated 25 October 1836 a Division of negroes bequethees by the will of Isaac Atkinson George D. Atkinson, deceased, bequethed by will of Isaac Atkinson, deceased, to the chldren of George D. Atkinson. Per the will each child gets an equal divison. Total value of slaves $10,190. Distributions, names & values follow. To Isaac L Atkinson, one of George's children: Solomon ($1050 value), Grayson ($900), Matilda (100). To Mary P. Atkinsone, one of George's children: Sandy (value $1000), Esther ($600), Sam ($150, Matild ($300). To George S. Atkinson, one of George's children: Washington (value $1000), Ellen ($625), Sam Sen. ($200), Tamar ($70). To William R. Atkinson, one of George's children: Wellington ($1000 value), John Sen. ($600), Margaret ($500). To Eliza A. Atkinson, one of George's children: Cipio ($1000 value), Charlotte ($500), John Jr ($500), Fanny ($20). Being equally divided, each child receives value of $2038.
