Then at my wife's death, my Negroes Handy & Charlotte should have $20 each to pay their expenses to Pennsylvania or New Jersey or some other non-slaveholding state and that they should be freed. If they choose to remain slaves, then Charlotte may go with my daughter Ann and Handy to belong to my son Aron, But if my said children should neglect them, they shall forfeit their interest in this estate.
