Waddell, sheriff, as the property of James Webster and Powell Feddeman - and to be rented out and the money from the rents to be paid over to Negroes Old John, Kate, Mary, Hannah and Nancy. Codicil to will: at decease of Lovey Robertson the property left for her use for her natural life, to go to testator's trustee, William Rea, to be rented out with the rents going to Negro boy Daniel and Henry. Codicil: As executor of the will, to transfer the equitable title of testator's personal estate and real estate - Negroes excepted - to the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey for the benefit of the said states or either of them which will guarantee the freedom and emancipation of "my slaves" by this codicil to be liberated and freed as well as testator's 2 young Negoes "Washington Decatur" aged 15 months and Negro girl Dianna aged about 9 months whom testator hereby manumits and sets free at testator's decease and their support to be provided out of the estate until they shall be able their freedom under this testator's codicil. |
