He is son of Mary Blake, free Negro of indigent circumstances. With her consent Blake to live with Bennett from today until 1 Jun 1866 when Blake is 21 yo. To learn trade of farming & will be provided with meat, drink, clothing & lodging and at expiration of term will receive wearing apparel suitable for Sunday wear. |
