Abstract James Cable, Negro boy 14 yo on 10 September last, comes to court; he is not at service or learning a trade or employed in service of his parents; he does not have sufficient means for maintenance. He is bound as apprentice until 30 Apr 1850 when he will be 21 yo, to John W. Jones to learn trade of farming. He is to receive suitable clothing & maintenance during apprenticeship & when free to get $17.
