| Abstract | Indenture between Isaac Gray & Leah Taylor on the one part & John T. Hickman of the other part. Gray & Taylor bind out their daughter Amanda Taylor, 1 yo on 3 July 1852, to John T. Hickman until she is 16 yo, to learn trade of house servant. She will receive sufficient meat, drink, clothing & lodging during her apprenticeship & at expiration of term on 3 Jul 1867 to receive 1 suit of clothes. Notation by Mr. Isaac Gray & Leah Taylor, free Negroes, father & mother of Eben Taylor. |
