Abstract | Hiram Grey, Negro boy 6 yo on 3 Aug last past, comes to Court; he is not at service, learning a trade or employed in service of his parents; they having been sold out of the State for misdemeanor, and that he is without means for his maintenance. Court binds him out to Peter Tarr on 21 Dec 1849 until he is 21 yo to learn trade of a farmer. He is to be supplied with clothing & maintenance during apprenticeship & when free to receive freedom suit worth $15 or that sum in cash. |
