Abstract Kendall Scarborough, of lawful age, swears that some time after Parker Selby had in possession the Negro fellow Able, this deponent heard Mrs. Hannah Selby, mother of the said Parker, say that she had given Able to Parker and that she had given a bill of sale. That this conversation passed, as well as this deponent recollects, about five or six years ago and before the said Mrs. Selby gave a bill of sale to Mr. Joseph Killam. Scarborough also recalls that Able was in Parker's possession at the time Mrs. Selby gave a bill of sale to Joseph Kellam. [3 entries relating to this]
