Abstract | An Indenture made by the Overseers of the Poor and Jesse Elliott to carry out an order made in the County Court dated 24 September 1821 to bind Leah Perkins, freed Negro, until the age of eighteen, unto Jesse Elliott, who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, and Wearing Apparel, teach her the trade of a Spinster and also pay her Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time. |
