The local option law was established in Fairmount, Md. & he was licensed as local preacher. Deprived of ealy education, he became good reader. Appointed pastor of Fairmount. Received into Delaware Conference in 1872. Appointments: Millington, Md; Centreville, Milford, Trappe, Odessa, Del; Milford (2nd time); East New Market, Md; Madison, Md; Bridgeville, Seaford, Del.
Family and Other Information Parents: Joshua & Leah Waters. Spouse: Fanny Fountain at age 21 in 1845. Children - 10. 7 of them preceeded mother & father in death.
