Rec'd Bachelor of Arts at Morgan College, Baltimore & in October 1921 matriculated at Drew Theological Seminary, Madison, N.J. He had arrived with 8 cents in his pocket after paying train fare from Baltimore & worked attending furances whle attending school - straining his health. Member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity & President of many organizations. Licensed as local preacher 1921; probationary membership in Delaware Conference in 1924. |
