Refers to Rev. [[underlined]] Mr. Machoy, [[/underlined]] and Rev. [[underlined]] E. Spence [[/underlined]] who will refute these charges. Inquires if he can have an appointment if he proves worthy. Message Body | I visited Mrs. Groce since you left here and deliverd your orders to her. She hopes to be able to commence School very soon. She will use every endeavor to improve these people and hopes to have a large School. She hopes that you will urge them to pay their Bills and will write you herself as soon as she is able. I regret that you have been informed that my habits were bad I have been greatly wronged by these persons. And can refer to Revnd. Mr Machay and Revnd. Ephraim Spence who with Robert J. Berber have done more than all the rest of them with regard to Schools. I told Mrs. Groce that you wished her to keep School in the Church / There is due her on the Months of Oct. November, and December, $23.50. Will you give me an appointment if I prove worthy [...] Please inform Mrs Groce what amount you expect them to raise per month |
