Message Body | Sir, I received your answer; My idea is that if I had of been a person of your race, and insulted by a black man; as I have been by a white man, that I would not have received an answer for to await for the second insult. here I am in this place trying to do my duty, knowing not what moment this villian may try the second attempt. I have been to Baltimore, and have been inform that the Bureau in Washington would attend to the case. |
