Text | Orphans Court appointed Jacob Morris, Sr. and Kirk Gunby appraisers to report on the real estate of Joshua Hayman, orphan in the care of Rebecca Hayman, his guardian. 21 April 1806 appraisers report there is 249 3/4 acres, 149 3/4 in woods, slaves Samuel age 16, Rachel 14, and Stephen 10, one dwelling house 24 by 16 in bad repair, kitchen 20 by 18 in bad repair, one meat house 12 by 12 in good repair, one old milk house 8 by 6 and one corn crib, one old stable, one out house, one small garden in bad repair, 234 apple trees, 1057 pannels of fence, the annual value of all being L31. |
