Text | Orphans Court appointed BEnjamin Wailes and Shiles Crocket appraisers to report on the real estate of Sally and Nelly Stayton, orphans in the care of Philip Storks, their guardian. 22 Feb 1806 appraisers report there is 25 acre of land in woods and about as much in cleared land, with one dwelling house the old part 16 by 18 with two 12 light windows and 2 four light windows, all with glass and an addition build to the same of 26 by 24 with 15 twelve light windows, all glassed but one that has only a few broken pains of glass in it, the house only one story high, one cook house, one story framed 18 by 17, one 12 light window and only 6 pains of glass in it, one old meat house, one round pole stable 16 by 16, one old shed 16 by 8, 31 apple trees, 7 peach trees, 3 pare trees, one palde garden, one clover lott 68 by 78, negroes Minda 44, Abagal 18 with child, annual value of all L30. |
