Text | Orphans Court appointed William Stone and William Handy, Sr. appraisers to report on the real estate of William P. Johnson, orphan in the care of Ann Dashiell his guardian. 19 March 1808 appraisers report there is on the land of William Purnell Johnson, whereon Mrs. Ann Dashiell now lives, one old negro man, one woman and four children, one dwelling house, two kitchens and one barn, one milk house, one corn house, an indifferent orchard, 1/10th of the land in woods. There is on the other plantation one dwelling house, one kitchen, one meat houue one cyder house, one milk house, one hen house and two corn houses all in bad repair and one small barn, an orchard and fence, 1/5th of the land in woods. |
