Abstract of Record | Division of negroes from estate of John W. Long, deceased. To be divided in as much as John W. Quinn, in right of his wife Eleanor, being one of the heirs and representatives of John W. Long, did come before the subscribers appointed by the Orphans Court and made his disapprobation to take no part of the said negroes; they divided the negroes between the residue of the heirs. Distribution, names & values follow. To John D. Long: woman Lydia ($272 value). To Drucilla Long: girl Jane ($535 value). To David Long: boy Denwood (value $505). Drucilla Long to also pay to John W. Quinn, in right of his wife, Eleanor $161; David Long also to pay money to Quinn due to Eleanor. Other sums exchanged among heirs to balance value received. |
