Abstract | William L. Jarvis, Negro boy 8 yo on 13 September last past, is represented to the Court that he is not at service or learning a trade or employed in the service of his parents & is without means sufficient for his maintenance. He is bound by Court as an apprentice to James S. Melson to learn trade of a farmer. He is to be supplied with suitable clothing & maintenance during his apprenticeship. When free to receive a freedom suit or that sum in cash. |
