Merrill for apprenticeship of James Fisher, Negro 10 yo on 1 January next with approbation of his mother Patience Fisher, a free Negro of indigent circumstances. He is to learn the art of a farmer; apprenticeship starts today until 1 Jun 1861 when he is 21 yo. Merrill will supply meat, drink, clothing & lodging and at expiration of term Fisher to receive $25. |
