Abstract | To Judges of Orphans Court are petitioned by Samuel Huston, Negro, stating that he was manumitted by deed from Sally Huston of Worcester about June 1848 and deed is now on record in Clerk's office. About 11 Jul 1848 Orphans Court had given him a permit to remain in County for one year & Huston asks for another permit for a like period of time. Several people signed the petition stating that from their own knowledge they deem petitioner a man of good character with praiseworthy deportment and therefore recommend him & petition to be favorable. |
