Abstract | Elizabeth Truitt, Negro girl, 9 yo on 1 June last past comes to court; she is not at service, learning a trade or employed in service of her parents, they being dead; she is without means sufficient for her maintenance. Court binds her out as apprentice to William C. Mumford until she is 18 yo to learn the trade of common labourer. He is to supply her suitable clothing & maintenance during her apprenticeship & when free to give her $15 in cash. |
