Abstract their full freedom on 1/1. Robert, Will, Harry, Darby, Jem, Little Bob, Joseph suck, Rachel Poll, Teaney, Alice, Little Teaney, Lucy, Flora, Fanny, Priscilla, Sarah, Phillis, Hannah, Peggy, Sally, Little Hester - but if because of advanced age they may not enjoy such freedom, I give to William H. Nicholson and Richard T. Earle in trust to sell them to people who they prefer and the agreed wages to be given them. If they cannot earn a decent support then they are to live on my estate "Burbon." since I have not freed them till Jan. 1, they are to receive the remainder of their salary at $60 per annum with their usual clothing according to the season and the women to receive the remainder at $40 per annum. the women to get the beds, hoes, axes and spinning wheels which they been accustomed to work for me. To following slaves (children of my mulatto wench Lucy): their freedom on Jan 1 after my decease: Betty, Julia, Susan, Sophia, Ann and Mary.
