Abstract George Martin, 6 yo on 1 May next, son of Mariah Martin, free Negro of indigent circumstances, was bound as apprentice until 1 May 1865 when he is 21 yo, to George Martin to learn the trade of farming. He is to receive sufficient meat, drink, clothing & lodging during the apprenticesship and at end of term to 2 suits of wearing apparel, 1 suitable for Sundays & the other for working days and $10 cash.
