Abstract Isaac H. Houston, free Negro, 2 yo on 10 May next, son of Judah Houston, free Negro of indigent circumstances & with her approbation, is bound as apprentice to John M. Houston to learn trade of farming, until 10 May 1869 when he is 21 yo. He is to receive sufficient meat, drink, clothing, & lodging during apprenticeship & at its expiration to receive $25 for his freedom suit.
